Chip
Keitel recently moved to Los Angeles,
where he filmed the pilot for the new series from Kevin Williams,
DAWSON'S SLAYERS, which debuts on the WB this Fall. Chip is second
cousin twice removed to Harvey Keitel, but doesn't want that to
get around because he wants to make it on his own. He began acting
at a young age; while most kids watched SESAME STREET, Chip made
many guest appearances on the show. While still a teen, he had a
featured role in THE MUPPETS TAKE MANHATTAN. He has appeared on
daytime dramas such as WEEKS OF OUR LIVES, COUNTY HOSPITAL, and
AS THE PLANETS ORBIT, and won a Daytime Emmy in 1998. Chip is also
pursuing a career on the big screen. This summer audiences will
be able to catch Chip in Ben Stiller's latest film, as well as Sofia
Coppola's THE GODFATHER DIARIES. Chip was runner-up for the part
of Anakin Skywalker in STAR WARS EPISODE I, but lost out to that
no-talent twerp Jake Lloyd. Chip is very pleased to be a part of
PEI's collaboration with Tripaway on TAMING OF THE SHREW, because
"the Bard ROCKS!" He wishes to thank his cousin, Harvey.
