Jerry Venutti (Vincentio)

Jerry has won acclaim for his performances on Broadway in GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS, AMERICAN BUFFALO, SPEED THE PLOW, and A LIFE IN THE THEATER. His true love, however, remains the American musical. He has performed the role of Nathan Detroit in GUYS AND DOLLS no less than 1,034 times in over 50 productions around the world. Frank Rich of the New York Times has called his interpretation of this role "sublime, captures the essence of the American dream... sexy yet vulnerable... will knock your sock off." Other favorite roles include Daddy Warbucks in ANNIE II, Captain von Trapp in THE SOUND of MUSIC, and Don Quixote in MAN OF LA MANCHA.
